I have been a professional artist for over 25 years. I became an artist because it made me feel good, a wild eccentric at heart and a passionate Adirondack Artist.  I fell in love with the Adirondacks when I was just a young girl.  Going to camp up on Little Blue and listening to the tales of my Great Uncle Ham Ferry.  Slim Jims and orange pop, smelling of brook trout, God how I loved it up there.  My mother has truly been my mentor, and my best friend, she taught me how to paint and carve and sew and even play guitar. I am a muralist, a 2 dimensional carver, an interior and exterior designer, a Pyrographic artist (that’s wood burning). I do portraits, custom painting, make lighting, make furniture, paint canvas,  Jack-of-all-trades really, master-of-none, I like to say.  Everything but the plumbing...well I will if I have to.  Mom always taught me that great things come from nothing...dolls from old socks for instance.  I love taking forgotten broken down old furniture and creating wonderful and unique one-of-a-kind pieces. You never know what new and interesting thing I am creating next. Art is my life, I can’t breathe without it.
